Bio
Kaia Fowler is a Music and Wellbeing Artist known for sharing music that speaks to the soul. Described as "a tremendous lyricist" by the Americana Gazette, and "a gifted songwriter and vocalist" by Folk Festival program host Lilli Kuzma, Kaia creates and shares transcendent experiences of comfort, courage, and connection through song and wellbeing programs.
As she performs music, Kaia draws you in with her passion and authenticity. Kaia took up guitar playing, singing, and songwriting as child, and, throughout her life since then, she has poured her observations on life and living into songs. Her sound integrates beautifully resonant vocals with guitar work that ranges from delicate finger style to percussive strumming.

She has released two full-length albums and an EP All the Way (2015). Her latest album, One Breath, features songs of hope and healing and celebrates the oneness of all. One Breath placed on the “Top Albums of the Month” Folk Alliance International chart for July 2022 and received international radio play. The album was described as “Breathtaking” by Lilli Kuzma, Host of "Folk Festival" on WDCB Radio.
Based in Wisconsin, USA, Kaia Fowler has performed numerous times at the acclaimed Café Carpe in Fort Atkinson, Wis. since her debut there in 2010. She separately opened for Bill Staines and Anne Hills in 2019 and has been a featured guest or in-the-round performer with Joe Jencks, Peter Mulvey, Katie Dahl, and Randy Sabien. She has also given solo shows at the Coffee House in Milwaukee, Wis. and numerous other small venues in Wisconsin and Illinois. She has several times has been featured by the Madison Folk Music Society at the Willy Street Fair street festival. In addition to playing music venues and festivals, Kaia Fowler has performed music for retreats, spiritual services, social justice events, and other community events. ​​See the Shows page for a list of past events.​
